Mountain Village

 

Mountain Village is Big Sky Resort’s central base village where residents and guests converge to ski, hike, bike, dine, shop, and access some of the world’s best summer and winter activities and more. Four hotel properties and several condominium offerings are located in Mountain Village, with direct access to 5,800 of skiable and adventure-focused terrain.

 

 

Located a quick drive away from the core of Mountain Village, or connected to the mountain by the Six Shooter Lift, Madison Base is a small family-oriented base area at Big Sky Resort with parking right next to Moonlight Mercantile, Headwaters Grille, lessons, rentals, and more.

 

Big Sky Resort is a home base for mountain travelers in search of adventure and exhilaration, scenic views, wellness and relaxation, guided hikes and more. Mountain Village offers a wide range of summer activities and experiences, including hiking, mountain biking, zipline tours, scenic lift rides, archery, disc and mini golf, and kid-focused programs such as Adventure Mountain.

Mountain Village is a year-round mountain destination for big mountain skiing where an average of 400 inches of powder fall on Big Sky Resort’s 5,850+ skiable acres and 4,350 vertical feet. Mountain Village offers a range of winter activities including nordic skiing, snowshoe and snowmobile tours, dog sledding, horseback riding, sleigh rides, and more.
